IMI Strategic Research Agenda
Recommendations on predicting safety and efficacy of new medicines as well as plans to bridge gaps in knowledge management and in education and training are presented in the IMI Strategic Research Agenda. The IMI Strategic Research Agenda is a living document and will be up-dated as necessitated by scientific advances.

Draft Scientific Priorities 2008 (PDF, 359 KB)
The IMI Governing Board approved Draft Scientific Priorities (summary of the research priorities to be addressed) for the first IMI Call on its first meeting. The Draft Scientific Priorities have been sent to the IMI Member States Group for advice.

The pharmaceutical industry represented by the EFPIA is convinced that the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) will help create an environment, which will lead to additional private investment in pharmaceutical and biotechnology R&D across Europe.
